Hello once again!

Our fields are just about filled with all the produce for this season and fall. We grow a variety of storage crops for the winter CSA program. Cabbages, potatoes, onions, garlic, squashes, carrots and beets. Oh and daikon radishes! It seems like so far away, but we all know how quick our summer’s are here. In other news, if you would like to purchase a flower bouquet we are now offering a selection of them at the farmstand from 9-6 on Tuesday, 9-1 Thursday/Saturday.

If you are eager to pick strawberries this year, please wait patiently! Below is a peek at our new fields.

I hope everyone is enjoying the warm sun and activities we get this time of year. I’ve been spending much of my time in the mountains, admiring the wildflowers and foraging. Please let us know if there are any issues, comments or recipes you’ve enjoyed. I personally love scape season! Fermentation is one of my favorite ways to relive the enjoyment all year round. If you don’t feel comfortable fermenting, Here is a recipe to follow along that is essentially a spicy pickled version of what I make. It serves as a great addition to my Asian inspired dishes.

Cheers! Alley
