Brooms standing, Tiger King, Wildfires, COVID-19, More Wildfires, Hurricanes, Flooding.. what more can 2020 bring? Oh wait, an election that could be very pivotal for the coming years! Times are crazy!

On a brighter note, cider press is up and running. We will have cider for sale in the next couple of weeks along with pumpkins. I hope fall is long to brace myself, and rejoice, for winter.

A message from Corky this week:

Hi! A little about myself... have been farming on and off for about nine years. Six in the Madison, WI area and three in Colorado on a vegetable/fruit farm. I came to GVB in 2016 while in the middle of a bike tour from Colorado to Oregon. I stayed for three weeks helping out with the harvest and helping the old owners of Rocky Creek press cider. This is my third time coming back on three different bike tours. Am always happy to be back! Good vibes, great people and a beautiful area right next to one of the coolest towns in the U.S. It’s September, fall is on the way, apples are being pressed and cider is being drank! Last Monday we went from a crazy wild fire to covering up all our plants before the frost came. Its been an interesting month/year. Before saying goodbye I would like to leave you with my favorite Moosewood cookbook recipes. Tabouli!!
