1/12: minus 18 at 11am. Windy last night!

Coverage is good! Very cold and will not groom today. I’m sure there are plenty of drifts, esp. along the exposed MSU, Babyheart, Jacy’s way trails. Orchard loops, RCF loops are more protected. Come out if you’re brave. The barn is warm!

Where Bear Creek and Rocky Creek meet at minus 20. Some maps show this as the start of the East Gallatin River. Others show Rocky Creek continuing all the way to the confluence of Bridger Creek. Lots of raptors out! Bald eagles, Rough Legged Hawks, and some sort of large accipiter.
